Generations Adult Family Homes consists of two Adult Family homes in the serene neighborhoods of Lakewood, Washington.
Generations AFH was formed in 2024 by Michael Nderitu and Leah Mugathuri, Michael is a Registered Nurse and Leah is Licensed Practical Nurse, both with experience spanning over 14 years in Healthcare . Both Michael and Leah have a passion for caring for vulnerable adults, what better way than to give them a home.
We understand that each client is unique and their needs vary. Thats why at Generations AFH, care is tailored specifically to each client.

Michael Nderitu,RN

Michael has been working in the health care field for 13 years, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in a nursing home and psychiatric hospital. He went on to graduate as RN and has been working in an acute hospital for 8 years.
Leah Mugathuri, LPN
Leah has been in th field of health care for 13 years with 3 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Western State Hospital. She is currently running the adult family homes.
How We Do It
Each client has varying needs, As such, we tailor care to individual needs.
We start by developing a care plan with the entire care team consisting of Family, Medical Team and our staff. We ask what you need and we develop the Care plan based on that.
Our staff will then discuss the care plan thoroughly and develop an implementation plan and schedule.
This is then discussed with the client and/or family and the medical team to ensure it fits the client's needs.
